Bio
Animesh Pandey did his PhD from IIT Kanpur and subsequently, postdoctoral work at the Racah Institute of Physics in Hebrew University, Jerusalem. His research focusses on the study of the geometry and mechanics of singularities and defects in solid bodies with a view towards the critical role they play in the morphology of thin sheets and phenomena like biological growth, active matter and plasticity.
