An arachnologist with a primary research emphasis on the study of spider diversity, taxonomy, and DNA barcoding across the Indian subcontinent. His contributions to the field include the discovery and description of over 55 spider species new to science. In 2017, he was awarded the "Herbert Levi Fund for Arachnological Research" by the American Arachnological Society to investigate the Salticids of India.
