My research interest and work broadly lies in the area of bioremediation of organic and inorganic waste. I mainly concentrate on the use of biological systems including immobilized enzymes and microbial cells for waste management. I have been using the agro-waste also for bioremediation of heavy metals like copper, cadmium, chromium, uranium and also for textile dyes.
