I carried out my PhD research work for 5 years under Dr. HK Manonmani, Senior Principal scientist at CSIR- Central Food Technological Institute, Mysore, in Food Protectants and infestation control department. My experience is in extraction and characterization of secondary metabolites from plant and microbial sources, their application in treatment and management of diabetes. Additionally, to evaluate the antidiabetic effect of the isolated active principles and their encapsulated formulations .
