I am working in the department of Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST) Shibpur since March, 2019. I belong to the structures group. I have completed my PhD degree from IIT Madras in July 2017. My research interests include computational engineering plasticity, and inelastic deformation in beams. I am also interested in the application of smart materials in structures undergoing finite deformation. Additionally, I am working on energy-based designs of
