Bio

I am presently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar. My broad research area is environmental biotechnology in which I mostly focus on detection and bioremediation of Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) and polymers i.e. plastic from effluent contaminated sites. Simultaneously, I am also interested in protein purification and characterizations from microorganisms.
