Bio

My main expertise and interest are in stone tool technology and comparing the South Asian evidence with other regions of the Old World. Currently, I am trying to understand human evolution in central India through the Narmada Basin Paleoanthropology Project which I am co-directing with the M.S. University of Baroda. The project’s main goal is to understand (from a multidisciplinary perspective) patterns of human occupation and adaptations in the region over the span of at least one million years
