I work on Statistical Mechanics and General Physics (Theory), in particular, Quantum Statistical Mechanics, Ultra-Cold Atoms, BEC, Casimir Effect, Magnetism, Quantum Scattering, Cavity QED, etc. My research methodology is analytical. I instructed following MSc/IMSc/PhD (Physics) courses so far: Modern Physics, Mathematical Methods-I &II, Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetic Theory-I & II, Quantum Mechanics-I & II, Statistical Mechanics, Advanced Statistical Mechanics, Many-Body Theory, etc.
