I am a research-oriented microbiologist specializing in environmental microbiology, with a particular emphasis on antibiotic pollution, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and microbial bioremediation. My research focuses on the isolation and characterization of environmental bacteria capable of degrading pharmaceutical contaminants, especially antibiotics, and understanding their associated resistance mechanisms.
