Dr. Pallavi Kanungo is the Head of the Department and Faculty Member in Sociology at Rourkela College, Odisha. She completed her Ph.D. in 2024 from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, NIT Rourkela. Her areas of expertise include Indian society, public policy, research methods, AI and society, tribal development, and rural sociology. Her research focuses on the sociology of education, indigenous and girl child education, education in smart cities, and the role of AI in education. Sh
