Dr. L. D. Singla promoted as Professor in January, 2009 at Department of Veterinary Parasitology, GADVASU, Ludhiana, Punjab, India in June, 2011. During the period of more than 24 years he planned, promoted, coordinated and conducted research, education and extension on parasitic diseases to minimize economic losses to livestock industry by way of improved diagnosis, control and development of socioeconomic programme for tropical parasitic diseases
