Dr. Subhendu Mazumdar is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology, Shibpur Dinobundhoo Institution (College). Since 2003, he is carrying out research in ecology, behaviour and conservation issues of birds and mammals, particularly those thriving in human-dominated landscapes and wetlands. Dr. Mazumdar is recognized as Associate Supervisor of the Ph.D programme by the Research Advisory Committee of the Department of Zoology of the University of Calcutta.
