Bio

I graduated (PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry) from Bose Institute/Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India (1998-2004). Later on, I did postdoctoral training in the University of Kentucky, Lexington USA. Since October, 2006 I have been working as a Staff Scientist and principal investigator at National Institute of Plant Genome Research, India. My lab mainly works in dissecting the molecular and biochemical basis of seed vigor and longevity in orthodox seeds and plant responses to abiotic
