Bio

Dr. Laxmi S. Inamdar obtained her M.Sc. (I Class, Dn) & Ph.D. in Zoology from Karnatak University. She has been Senior Professor of Zoology. Her areas of research interest are: Endocrinology, Reproduction, and Development principally focusing on sex determination and differentiation. Dr. Inamdar’s group is the first to discover new FMFM pattern of temperature-dependent-sex determination revealing the effect of temperature on the developing embryos of a squamate reptile, Calotes versicolor (Daud.
