My research focuses on advancing Data Assimilation using ensemble-based methods, such as Ensemble Kalman Filters and hybrid Data Assimilation techniques, to improve the accuracy and reliability of weather forecasts. My key contributions include convection-permitting modeling, parameter estimation, and the integration of satellite and radar data into numerical weather prediction systems.
