Dr. M. N. Nagendra Prasad has been a distinguished member of the Department of Biotechnology at JSS STU, Mysuru, for the past 18 years. His extensive research spans several critical areas including molecular characterization, lifestyle-based disease management (with a focus on diabetes and nephrolithiasis), biogenic synthesis of nanoparticles targeting pathogens, and the development of soluble dietary fibres and probiotic products.
