Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Mani Sharma is a very senior professional in agricultural librarianship of the country. Among the Central Agricultural Universities of the India, he is the first ever regular University Librarian of a Central Agricultural University. Prof. Sharma an agricultural science graduate and BHU Gold Medalist of MLIS (1989), UGC NET (1991) qualified, did Ph.D. from Utkal University, Bhubneshwar in 2004. He is currently serving as University Librarian (faculty) at Dr. Rajendra Prasad C
