Bio

I have focused my research work on urinary type struvite and related crystals, which generally occurs as a Kidney Stone in humans and animals. Struvite & related crystals with different morphology were grown in laboratory and characterized them using various techniques. Using Vickers micro-hardness test mechanical properties were derived. Growth inhibition studies of struvite crystals in the presence of some herbal extracts were also carried out to find the potent inhibitors for struvite.
