Bio
A fascination with exotic place names in maps drew me towards Geography. The courses I teach are mainly the physical aspects of Geography- Geotectonics and Geomorphology. Rivers are my chief interest- their behavior, spatial and temporal changes, water resources, soil erosion and fluvial hazards. I use traditional and modern mapping/modeling methods, especially high-resolution images and 3-D datasets, UAV-SfM methods. I also map built-up locales and space utilization in rural and urban areas.
