Bio

Dr. Vishwanath R. S investigates new functional materials for electrochemical applications. The emphasis is on sustainable electrochemical energy conversion and storage methods (photo/electrochemical water splitting, supercapacitor and battery studies), electrochemistry at liquid-liquid interfaces (three-phase, thin-film, and four-electrode configurations) and retrieving energy with water treatment (capacitive/battery desalination). This range of applications is made attainable by an essential p
