Worked as Faculty Member in Physics at Osmania University, Hyderabad from 1990 and retired as Professor of Physics in the year 2021. Published number of research papers in various journals in the research areas of Materials Science and Environmental Radioactivity. Executed research projects and guided research students for their Ph.D. degrees. Also, worked as Registrar, Osmania University (2016-2021) and as Vice-Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, Telangana (2021 - 2024).
