Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Pandey, obtained his Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1992, is a Professor of Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) in Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He worked as Director General, NPTI Ministry of Power, Govt of India from July 2016 to Aug 2020. An Expert in HVDC & FACTS Transmission Technology including VSC HVDC for RE Grid Interface, Distribution System Planning and Automation.
