Research work includes polymer gear mechanics, gear profile modification, gear durability and operational characteristics, bending and fatigue failure and finite element analysis using ANSYS Workbench. He has designed and get fabricated a Single Tooth Bending Fatigue (STBF) fixture to carry out the future experiments on available Fatigue Testing Machine (FTM) on polymer gear.
