Native Indian, Dr Sudhir has obtained his PhD from Banaras Hindu University. His areas of interest are plant pathology, fungal biology, host-pathogen interaction, and disease management. He is currently working on breeding for biotic and abiotic stress, host-pathogen interaction and disease resistance in wheat, mungbean and soybean. He is also interested in fungal biology, fungicide resistance and associated aspects of hemibiotrophic and biotrophic fungal plant pathogens.
