He has authored various research papers in reputed journals in the field of theoretical plasmas physics which involves strongly coupled plasmas, dusty plasmas, and quantum plasmas. His current research interests include nonlinear waves and instabilities in plasmas, finite temperature degenerate plasmas, relativistic plasmas, and nonlinear thermoacoustic waves in plasmas.
