His research work leading to his PhD degree was carried out in the field of Mobile Adhoc Networks and it was highly commended by both Foreign and Indian Examiners. Dr. Kannan research work focuses on developing new security architectures and routing strategies for secure mobile cloud communication. He has published 24 research papers in refereed international journals indexed in Scopus, SCIE, and SCI databases.
