Holds PhD degree in Applied Mathematics from Andhra University in 1991. Also did CSIR Post-Doctoral Research during 1992-1995 and successfully completed a four month FDP from IIM, Ahmedabad. Had more than 30 years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration. Also worked on consultancy projects and sponsored research projects. Published 95 research papers in national and international journals of repute and supervised a number of MPhil and PhD students .
