Bio
Isolation of several compounds from different plant sources, including new compounds and characterization of these by chemical and spectroscopic studies. Phytochemical isolation of potential topoisomerase inhibitors from four plants, Bacopa monniera, Picrorhiza kurroa, swertia chirata and vitex negundo, resulting in the isolation of fifteen known and two novel compounds. Among the isolates were three saponins one new, five iridoid glycosides one new, three secoiridoids, four flavonoids
