Bio
A coastal-marine ecologist with a wide interest in marine biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. Current research projects aim at understanding and cataloguing of various bio-invasive species in the coastal marine habitats of India and how it affects endemic species diversity, ecosystem process, food-web structure and economy of coastal states. Other work includes the assessment of anthropogenic and climate-change impacts on various coastal-marine communities and ecosystems.
