She received her M.Sc and Ph.d degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. She has many papers in reffered journals of high impact factor/International conferences. Her research interests include Optimization Techniques, Nature Inspired Algorithms, Computational Intelligence and their application to real life engineering problems.
