R.V. Mahendra Gowda obtained Ph.D. in the area of Friction in materials from IIT Delhi in 2001. He has 21 years of experience in industry, research, teaching and administration and he is working as Principal of prominent Engineering Colleges for nearly 13 years. He has executed 6 research funded projects of worth Rs.66 Lakhs. He guided two PhD scholars and two are currently pursuing. He published 32 Papers in Journals, 24 Papers in Conferences, 2 Books and 2 Book Chapters.
