I joined the University of Burdwan in 1986. Previously, I served Taki Govt. College and North Bengal University for almost three years. Gold-medalist in the Post-graduation, I did my Doctorate Degree from the University on measuring efficiency in the production of paddy in West Bengal through stochastic frontier analysis. I economics, advanced time series econometrics not only in the department of Economics of this university but also in different universities of India as visiting fellow/profess
