My main research work interests lie at the interface of Materials Science, Biology, and Bioengineering. Nanotechnology and nanomaterials have revolutionarily expanded the spectrum of biomedical applications. However, the long-term fate of these nanomaterials in the organism (humans) is not understood and their inertness prevents their biodegradation.
