Bio

We study the statics and dynamics of martensitic materials (steels, shape memory alloys,ferroelectrics, CMR oxides, and proteins.), disorder-induced effects in colloids and re-equilibration issues in aging systems by applying Statistical Mechanics models and using computational techniques (Monte Carlo and Molecular Dynamics simulations, Phase-field method).
