Dr.Amutha has vast experience in clinic-based studies and has been involved in the ICMR funded “Young Diabetes Registry” project started in 2006 and has registered more than 4000 cases whose onset of diabetes was less than 25 years of age, currently, involved in Phase III cohort study. As one of the Co-investigator, she has also completed a DST-funded study titled “Beta-cell function in youth with type 2 diabetes and its association with atherosclerosis” aimed to study the beta-cell function and
