Dr. Soumya K was educated at Calicut University, where she obtained Master’s Degree in Applied Zoology with Entomology specialization and Bangalore University where she obtained Doctoral Degree in Zoology (Agricultural Entomology). She began her career in 2012 as a Research Assistant at ICAR-IIHR. During her tenure in IIHR (2012-2016) she worked for various National Research projects.
