Bio
Mr. Pillai is primarily associated with the Research & Development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) propulsion systems in general and development of indigenous Wankel Rotary Combustion Engines in particular. His other interests are thermodynamic cycle analysis of gas turbine engines, I.C engines and power generation. He and his team has developed a 55 hp indigenous Wankel Rotary Combustion Engine for a tactical UAV of DRDO, which has been successfully flight tested
