I am an oceanographer interested in both physics and dynamics of the ocean and climate with active research efforts in the areas of Indian Ocean Dynamics, Air-Sea interactions, Satellite Oceanography, Numerical ocean-atmosphere modeling, Energetics of the ocean meso scale processes, the impact of cyclone-ocean interaction on biology, and Coastal dynamics. In my research I use a combination of dynamics, numerical modeling, satellite and analysis of observations (ARGO, CTD, Buoys) for the study of
