He is a member of External Appraisal Committee(EAC)-Thermal Power and Coal Mining, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change(MoEFCC)- a top level committe constituded by Govt. of India.He is empaneled NAAC assessor-National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bengaluru. His areas of interest include Power System Communication, electric vehicle, Smart Grid, Cyber Physical Systems, Signal Processing and AI.
